Dental Protection is hosting its inaugural dental conference ‘Safer practice, better care’ on Saturday 29 September at the Convention Centre Dublin.
Dr Martin Foster, head of dental services (Ireland) at Dental Protection, will introduce the conference, followed by two keynote addresses from Simon Kayll, chief executive of Medical Protection Society and Dr Raj Rattan, dental director of Dental Protection.
Following that, there will be talks about the claims experience, a case study of an actual dentolegal dilemma, and GDPR.
Dentist Dr Garry Heavey will also be on hand with a presentation on the front-of-office team as the ‘first line of defence’.
In the afternoon, attendees will be able to choose one session on reducing dentolegal risks, managing difficult patients, Minamata convention and amalgam, and dealing with burnout and stress.
