Dublin dental nursing meeting free to members

The Irish Dental Nurses’ Association (IDNA) Conference 2016 will take place on 22 October in Dublin and is free to all members.

This year’s theme is promotion, prevention and education in oral health and includes a host of speakers, including IDNA president Dr Mary O’Donnell, Dr Barry Dace from the US, Orlagh Pettigrew, Dr Anne Nugent, Catherine Waldron, Tom Giffney and members of the Dental Council. The

IDNA Annual General Meeting will also group during the afternoon.

Topics on the table include diabetes and dental health, patients with chronic medical conditions, nutrition, smoking cessation and health promotion.

A tradeshow will run parallel to the conference and include leading oral health companies. Delegates can browse in between lectures, pick up free samples and make the most of one-to-one time with dental representatives.
